Former BRS MLA Balka Suman was released from Adilabad district jail on Tuesday after a court granted him conditional bail in multiple cases. Along with him other accused including Rajireddy Anil and Lakshmikanth were also released following the court order.

The arrests were made earlier in connection with an alleged attack on the convoy of minister Vivek Venkatswamy. The court granted bail to the accused in three separate cases including those registered in Kyathanpalli and Chennur which cleared the way for their release from jail.

After stepping out of prison Balka Suman addressed the media and strongly criticized the Congress government. He alleged that police not only used force against them but also filed false cases to target opposition leaders.

Suman claimed that district officials were acting like personal staff of the minister instead of functioning as neutral government officers. He said the actions taken against him were politically motivated and aimed at suppressing opposition voices.

The former MLA also expressed emotional distress stating that he was kept in jail during the Holi festival and could not be with his family on his son’s birthday. According to him such actions reflect political vendetta rather than fair governance.

Balka Suman further accused the ruling party of trying to capture local political positions despite limited electoral strength. He stated that the situation undermines democratic values and vowed to continue raising his voice against what he described as unfair political practices.
