Poco has started the first sale of its new C85x 5G smartphone in India offering a massive 6300mAh battery, smooth display and affordable pricing under eleven thousand rupees.

Poco has officially started the first sale of its latest budget smartphone, the Poco C85x 5G, in India. The device is now available for purchase through Flipkart, where buyers can grab the phone at a starting price below Rs 11000. The company is positioning the handset as one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the market with a large battery.

The smartphone went on sale on March 14 at 12 noon and is available in two storage variants. The base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs 10999, while the higher variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 11999. Customers can choose between three color options including black, gold and green.

One of the main highlights of the Poco C85x 5G is its massive battery. The device packs a 6300mAh battery, which the company claims can easily deliver up to two days of usage under normal conditions. This large capacity battery is designed for users who rely heavily on their smartphones throughout the day.

Charging support on the device includes 15W wired charging through a USB Type C port. In addition to standard charging, the smartphone also supports 7.5W wired reverse charging, allowing users to share battery power with other compatible devices when needed.

On the front, the phone features a large 6.9 inch HD Plus AdaptiveSync display. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, providing smoother scrolling and better overall viewing experience. For gaming and fast touch response, the display also offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Brightness levels can reach up to 800 nits, making the screen easier to view in outdoor conditions. The display also carries several certifications from TUV Rheinland including circadian friendly, low blue light and flicker free certifications, which aim to reduce eye strain during prolonged use.

The Poco C85x 5G runs on Android 16 based HyperOS 3, providing a modern software experience. The device is powered by the octa core Unisoc T8300 processor with a peak clock speed of 2.2GHz. Graphics performance is handled by the Mali G57 GPU.

In terms of memory and storage, the smartphone includes 4GB LPDDR4x RAM along with up to 128GB internal storage. Users who require additional space can expand the storage through a microSD card, with support for expansion up to 2TB.

For photography, Poco has equipped the device with a dual rear camera system. The main camera uses a 32 megapixel sensor and offers digital zoom capabilities of up to 10x. A secondary rear camera is also included to support additional photography functions.

On the front, the smartphone features an 8 megapixel camera designed for selfies and video calls. While the camera setup is simple compared with premium models, it aims to deliver decent performance for everyday photography needs.

The Poco C85x 5G is a dual SIM smartphone and supports 5G connectivity, making it a budget friendly option for users looking to upgrade to next generation mobile networks. With its combination of large battery, smooth display and affordable pricing, the device targets buyers who want reliable performance without spending heavily on a smartphone.

With the first sale now underway, the Poco C85x 5G could attract strong interest from users searching for a long battery smartphone at an entry level price point in the Indian market.
