OnePlus Nord 6 Price Leak Suggests Slight Hike Ahead of Expected Launch

Upcoming mid range smartphone may arrive with stronger performance upgrades larger battery and refined design while pricing hints at a noticeable increase compared to previous Nord generation models in India

The upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 is already generating buzz in the mid range smartphone market as fresh leaks reveal its expected pricing and storage configurations ahead of launch. While the company has yet to officially confirm details, early reports indicate that the new Nord device could come at a slightly higher price point than its predecessor.

According to industry sources, the device is likely to debut in India between March and April 2026. Although no official announcement has been made by OnePlus, the timeline aligns with the brand’s usual product cycle for its popular Nord series.

The leaked pricing suggests that the OnePlus Nord 6 could fall in the range of Rs 28000 to Rs 35000. However, some reports indicate that the actual starting price may go higher, potentially beginning around Rs 36999. This marks an increase of roughly Rs 3000 to Rs 5000 compared to the OnePlus Nord 5, which launched at a starting price of Rs 31999.

In terms of variants, the new model is expected to be offered in two configurations only. Buyers may get options of 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Notably, a higher 512GB storage variant that was available in the previous generation might not be included this time.

On the hardware front, leaks hint at a significant upgrade. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.78 inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, likely around 120Hz or more, promising smoother visuals and improved user experience. Powering the device could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which would position the Nord 6 as a strong performer within its segment.

Battery capacity is another area where the phone could stand out. While exact specifications are still unconfirmed, some reports suggest a very large battery, possibly up to 9000mAh, paired with fast charging support. If accurate, this would mark a major leap in endurance compared to earlier models.

Camera capabilities are also expected to see improvements, with a 50MP primary sensor likely to handle everyday photography needs. In terms of design, the device may continue OnePlus’ premium approach, featuring a sleek profile and a glass back finish.

With these expected upgrades, the OnePlus Nord 6 appears set to compete aggressively in the mid range segment, even as its pricing inches upward.
