Poco Launches High Capacity X8 Series with Massive Battery Ahead of First Sale
Poco introduces new X8 Pro series with powerful battery performance, fast charging, and premium features, alongside OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro debuting with AI noise cancellation and long playback support

Smartphone buyers looking for long lasting battery life have a new option as Poco X8 Pro Max 5G prepares for its first sale starting March 23. The device has already drawn attention for its massive 9000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver extended usage without frequent charging.
The launch also includes the standard Poco X8 Pro 5G, offering a slightly smaller battery but still targeting users who prioritize performance and endurance. Both smartphones will be available through Flipkart starting at 12 PM, along with limited time bank discounts.
In terms of pricing, the Pro Max variant starts at Rs 42999 for the 12GB and 256GB model, while the higher 12GB and 512GB configuration is priced at Rs 46999. Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Pro 5G begins at Rs 32999 for the 8GB and 256GB option, with the 12GB variant priced at Rs 35999. A special Iron Man Edition is also available at a slightly higher price point.
The standout feature of the Pro Max model is its battery capacity. With a 9000mAh unit, the phone is designed to last up to three days under regular use, offer over two weeks of standby time, and support extended video playback. The standard variant, equipped with a 6500mAh battery, also promises reliable day to day performance. Both devices support 100W fast wired charging and reverse charging capabilities.
Display technology is another key highlight. The Pro Max features a large 6.83 inch AMOLED display, while the standard model comes with a 6.59 inch AMOLED screen. Both offer high durability with multiple IP ratings for resistance against dust and water, making them suitable for varied usage conditions.
Performance is powered by MediaTek chipsets, with the Pro Max running on Dimensity 9500s and the standard model using Dimensity 8500 Ultra. Camera capabilities remain consistent across both models, with a 50 megapixel main sensor and a 20 megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Alongside the smartphones, OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro will also go on sale the same day across multiple platforms including Amazon and official OnePlus channels. Priced at Rs 3999, the earbuds will be available at a limited time discounted launch price.
The Nord Buds 4 Pro focus on audio performance, featuring 12mm dynamic drivers with titanium coating for improved sound clarity and bass. They support active noise cancellation up to 55dB and include AI powered call noise reduction with multiple microphones.
Battery life is another strong point for the earbuds. With the charging case, users can expect up to 54 hours of total playback under optimal conditions. Fast charging support ensures quick top ups, making them practical for daily use.
With a mix of high capacity smartphones and feature rich audio accessories, the latest launches reflect growing demand for devices that combine endurance, performance, and smart features in the mid premium segment.
