The Exter ranges up to about 9.42 lakh rupees, while the Punch spans from roughly 5.60 lakh to 10.55 lakh rupees ex showroom. This close pricing makes the decision more about features and preferences rather than cost alone.

When it comes to performance, both SUVs offer reliable engine options suited for city and occasional highway use. The Exter is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine along with a CNG option, paired with manual and automatic transmissions. It delivers a mileage ranging from around 19 to 27 kilometers per liter. On the other hand, the Punch offers more variety, including a turbocharged petrol engine along with naturally aspirated petrol and CNG options.
