Samsung has introduced its new Galaxy Book 6 series in India, offering a lineup of high-performance laptops for students, professionals, and power users. The series includes the flagship Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book 6 model, all designed to combine powerful hardware with sleek design. These models will be available through Samsung’s online store and authorized offline retail channels across the country.
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra stands out as the premium model in the series. It features a 16-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED touchscreen display with peak brightness reaching 1000 nits and an anti-reflective coating. Under the hood, it houses an Intel Core Ultra X7 Series 3 Evo Edition processor paired with Intel NPU offering up to 50 TOPS performance and an NVIDIA GeForce 5070 GPU. Users can choose configurations with up to 32GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage. Additional highlights include a 2-megapixel Full HD webcam, Samsung Two-Tone Pro backlit keyboard, haptic touch trackpad, and an 80.2Wh battery supporting 140W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card slot, and audio jack, all packed into a 1.89kg chassis.
The Galaxy Book 6 Pro mirrors many of the Ultra’s specifications, running Windows 11 Home and featuring the same Intel Core Ultra processor. The Pro comes with a 16-inch AMOLED touchscreen for the larger model and 14-inch for the compact variant, both with anti-reflective coatings. Storage, RAM, NPU, webcam, I/O ports, and keyboard setup match the Ultra model, while the 16-inch Pro battery is rated at 78.07Wh and the 14-inch at 67.18Wh. Weights and dimensions vary slightly with 16-inch at 1.59kg and 14-inch at 1.24kg.
The standard Galaxy Book 6 delivers a similar Windows 11 experience and hardware foundation, with three display options: 16-inch touchscreen, 16-inch non-touch, and 14-inch non-touch. The top-end 16-inch touchscreen features a WUXGA display at 1920×1200 pixels with 350 nits peak brightness. Equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor, integrated GPU, and Intel NPU delivering 49 TOPS, the laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. Sizes for the 16-inch non-touch, touchscreen, and 14-inch variants range from 313mm to 357mm in width and 14.9mm to 16.8mm in thickness.
Pricing for the Galaxy Book 6 series begins at 127,990 rupees for the standard 14-inch model, 178,990 rupees for the 14-inch Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and 242,990 rupees for the 16-inch Galaxy Book 6 Ultra with Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor. Samsung is offering additional perks including up to 5000 rupees cashback, 24-month interest-free EMI options, and up to 10 percent extra benefits for students with a valid ID.
