Lava has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Bold N2 Lite, aiming to capture attention in the highly competitive entry level segment. Priced well below Rs 8000, the device combines practical features with a modern design, making it appealing for users seeking value without compromising on essentials.
The smartphone stands out for its durability as well. It comes with an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and minor water splashes, which is still uncommon in this price range. Alongside this, the phone also includes security features like a side mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for convenient access.
Under the hood, the Bold N2 Lite is powered by the UNISOC 9863A octa core processor, designed to handle everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and light multitasking. It comes with 6GB RAM, which includes a combination of physical and virtual memory, and 64GB internal storage. Users also have the option to expand storage up to 512GB, ensuring enough room for apps, photos, and media.
The device features a large 6.75 inch HD plus display with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and a better viewing experience compared to standard displays. Whether watching videos or browsing content, the screen is designed to deliver a fluid experience for daily use.
For photography, Lava has equipped the phone with a 13MP AI powered dual rear camera setup. It supports multiple shooting modes including portrait, HDR, night mode, and time lapse. On the front, there is a 5MP camera with screen flash support, catering to selfies and video calls even in low light conditions.
Battery performance is another highlight of the device. The Bold N2 Lite packs a 5000mAh battery, which should comfortably last through a full day of typical usage. It supports 10W wired charging and comes with a USB Type C port, ensuring compatibility with modern charging standards. The phone runs on Android 15 Go Edition, optimized for smoother performance on budget hardware.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G dual SIM functionality and includes features such as WiFi, Bluetooth, OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, covering all essential needs for users.
The Lava Bold N2 Lite is priced at Rs 7399, but buyers can avail a Rs 400 coupon discount, effectively lowering the cost. Additionally, customers purchasing two units can benefit from an extra Rs 500 discount. The device will be available starting April 10 at 12 PM via Amazon. It comes in two color options Nilgiri Blue and Kolar Gold, both offering a stylish finish that adds a premium touch to its budget positioning.
