Google Expands AI Pro Plan With Major Cloud Storage Boost and New AI Features

Subscribers now receive up to 5TB storage along with advanced AI tools, enhanced content creation capabilities, and broader access across Google services without any additional subscription cost increase

Google has rolled out a significant upgrade to its AI Pro subscription, giving users far more storage and deeper access to its growing artificial intelligence ecosystem. The update is already being introduced to users and is expected to enhance how subscribers create, store, and manage digital content across platforms.

One of the most notable changes is the jump in cloud storage. Subscribers who previously had a 2TB limit will now receive up to 5TB of storage under the same plan. This expanded capacity applies across services like Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos, allowing users to store large volumes of videos, images, and documents without worrying about running out of space.

The increased storage is particularly useful for those working with AI generated content, which tends to consume significant space quickly. From high resolution visuals to long form video outputs, the added capacity supports creators, professionals, and students who rely heavily on digital workflows.

Despite the upgrade, Google has kept the pricing unchanged. In India, the plan continues to be available at a monthly and annual subscription rate, making the added benefits more attractive without increasing financial burden. The improved offering is also available to users enrolled through student programs and select bundled subscriptions, including telecom partnerships.

Beyond storage, the AI Pro plan strengthens its focus on advanced tools. Subscribers gain access to Gemini powered features, including deep research capabilities and enhanced productivity tools integrated into apps like Docs, Sheets, and Slides. These features are designed to streamline tasks such as writing, data analysis, and presentations.

The plan also includes access to newer generative technologies. Users can create videos using advanced AI models and even transform images into video content with extended limits. Additional access is provided to fast processing AI systems through enterprise level platforms, offering more flexibility for experimentation and production.

Students benefit from added incentives, including monthly AI credits that can be used for generating text, images, and videos across supported platforms. The plan also enhances usage limits in research and note taking tools, making it easier to create audio summaries, structured notebooks, and detailed outputs.

With this upgrade, Google is positioning its AI Pro plan as a more comprehensive solution that combines powerful AI tools with practical storage benefits. The move reflects the growing demand for integrated AI services that not only generate content but also support its storage and long term management.
