Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was honoured with the Business Reformer of the Year award at a prestigious event held in Mumbai. The recognition came during the Excellence Awards ceremony organised by The Economic Times, acknowledging his efforts in driving administrative and economic reforms.
Speaking after receiving the award, Naidu underlined the importance of technology in shaping future growth. He urged policymakers and stakeholders to embrace innovation and digital tools to accelerate development, stating that progress today depends heavily on technological adoption.
Highlighting his government’s initiatives, the Chief Minister described the P4 scheme as a major step toward poverty eradication. He explained that the programme has created a large support network, where thousands of mentors are helping uplift underprivileged communities. He also stressed the need to prioritise gender equality and empower women as part of inclusive development.
Reflecting on his earlier tenure, Naidu said that careful study of economic conditions before and after reforms helped shape long term strategies. He pointed to Vision 2020 as a guiding framework that contributed to the transformation of Hyderabad into a major urban and economic hub.
He concluded by reiterating that sustained growth requires a clear vision combined with the effective use of technology, calling on states and institutions to continue moving in that direction.
