Motorola Launches Moto Buds 2 Plus in India with Bose Tuned Audio and Long Battery Life

New wireless earbuds arrive with premium sound tuning, strong noise cancellation, smart AI tools, and extended battery performance, aiming to attract users looking for feature rich audio devices under budget segment

Motorola has expanded its audio lineup in India with the launch of the Moto Buds 2 Plus, bringing a mix of premium sound technology and practical features at a competitive price. The new true wireless earbuds are priced at 5,999 rupees and will go on sale starting May 8 through Flipkart, as confirmed by the platform’s microsite.

Designed for users who prioritize both sound quality and battery life, the Moto Buds 2 Plus offer up to 40 hours of total playback when used with the charging case. On a single charge, the earbuds can run for up to eight hours, while a quick 10 minute charge is said to deliver around two hours of listening time. The earbuds also come with an IP54 rating, offering resistance against dust and minor splashes.

The highlight of the device is its audio performance. Motorola has equipped these earbuds with a hybrid dual driver setup that combines 11mm dynamic drivers with 6mm units and Knowles balanced armatures. The sound profile is tuned under the Sound by Bose branding, delivering a richer and more immersive listening experience. Support for Hi Res Audio and the LHDC codec further enhances audio clarity, while spatial audio adds a surround sound like feel.

Noise control is another key focus area. The earbuds feature adaptive active noise cancellation that can reduce noise levels by up to 55dB. Multiple transparency modes are included, allowing users to stay aware of their surroundings when needed. A six microphone system works alongside AI driven CrystalTalk technology to improve call clarity by minimizing background noise.

Connectivity features are equally robust. With Bluetooth 6.0 support, the Moto Buds 2 Plus allow dual device pairing, making it easy to switch between devices like smartphones and laptops. Additional features accessible through the Moto Buds app include customizable touch controls, low latency gaming mode, wear detection, and audio sharing.

The earbuds also bring a layer of smart functionality through AI integration. Compatible Motorola devices can access features such as real time translation, attention mode, memory prompts, and quick summaries, enhancing usability beyond just audio playback. The app further offers a custom equalizer, preset sound modes, a fit test, and the ability to locate or ring misplaced earbuds.

First introduced at MWC 2026 in Barcelona alongside the standard Moto Buds 2, the Plus variant now enters the Indian market targeting users who want advanced features without stepping into the premium price bracket.

Available in Pantone Cool White and Pantone Silhouette finishes, the Moto Buds 2 Plus aim to deliver a balance of style, performance, and smart features, making them a strong contender in the mid range wireless earbuds segment.
