OnePlus Nord CE6 Debuts in India With 8000mAh Battery and 144Hz AMOLED Display
OnePlus has launched the Nord CE6 with a massive battery, powerful Snapdragon processor, premium AMOLED display, fast charging support, and strong durability features aimed at gamers and heavy users.

OnePlus has officially launched the new OnePlus Nord CE6 in India, targeting users who want flagship style features without crossing the premium smartphone price range. The smartphone arrives with a strong focus on battery life, gaming performance, display quality, and durability, making it one of the most feature packed devices in the sub Rs 30000 category.
The biggest attraction of the Nord CE6 is its massive 8000mAh battery. OnePlus claims the phone is built for users who spend long hours gaming, streaming videos, or multitasking throughout the day. The large battery is paired with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology, allowing the device to recharge quickly despite the huge battery size. The smartphone also supports 27W reverse wired charging, giving users the option to charge other devices directly from the phone.
OnePlus has equipped the Nord CE6 with a 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is designed to deliver smoother scrolling, improved gaming visuals, and a more fluid viewing experience during video playback. The display also includes HDR support and high brightness levels for better outdoor visibility and richer colors.
Performance is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which is built on a 4nm architecture. The processor is expected to handle multitasking, gaming, and demanding applications efficiently. To further improve gaming responsiveness, OnePlus has added a Touch Reflex chip along with a 3200Hz touch sampling rate. According to the company, the phone can support gaming at up to 144FPS in selected titles.
To manage heat during long gaming sessions, OnePlus has integrated a large vapor chamber cooling system measuring over 33000mm². The cooling setup is designed to keep temperatures under control and maintain stable performance even during heavy usage. The phone also features a 6 axis gyroscope that improves gaming controls and motion based interactions.
In the camera department, the Nord CE6 features a 50MP primary rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization support. The company says the camera is optimized for low light photography and stable video recording. The rear setup also includes a secondary camera sensor, while the front houses a 32MP selfie camera capable of recording 4K videos.
OnePlus has also focused heavily on durability and protection. The smartphone comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, offering resistance against water and dust under challenging conditions. In addition, the device carries MIL STD 810H certification, which indicates it has undergone durability testing for everyday reliability.
The phone runs on OxygenOS and offers a clean software experience with several AI powered features integrated into the system. Additional features include dual stereo speakers, an in display fingerprint sensor, face unlock support, 5G connectivity, Wi Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.
OnePlus has launched the Nord CE6 in two variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 29999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs Rs 32999. Customers using select bank cards can also receive an instant discount of Rs 2000, reducing the effective prices further.
The smartphone will go on sale starting May 8, 2026 at 12 PM. Buyers can purchase the device through Amazon, the OnePlus India website, the OnePlus Store app, and official OnePlus Experience Stores. The phone is available in Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black color options.
With its massive battery, gaming focused hardware, premium display, and strong durability ratings, the OnePlus Nord CE6 appears aimed at users who want long lasting performance and flagship style features at a more affordable price point.
