Telangana Tourism Organises Mango Pickle Workshop With VahChef in Hyderabad
Telangana Tourism will conduct a special mango pickle workshop in Hyderabad on May 16 where participants can learn authentic Telugu style pickle preparation from celebrity chef VahChef Sanjay Thumma.

The Telangana Tourism Development Corporation has opened registrations for a unique culinary workshop focused on traditional mango pickle making. The programme will take place at The Plaza in Begumpet on May 16 and is expected to attract food lovers and cooking enthusiasts from across the city.
Popular chef Sanjay Thumma, widely known as VahChef, will personally conduct the session and guide participants through the complete process of preparing homemade mango pickle. The workshop is scheduled between 9.30 am and 11.30 am.
Officials said the initiative is aimed at preserving and promoting Telangana’s traditional food culture by introducing people to authentic Telugu pickle recipes, spice mixing techniques, and preservation methods that have been followed for generations.
Participants attending the workshop will receive practical training and prepare mango pickle during the session using ingredients provided by the organisers. They will also be allowed to carry home the pickle they prepare along with detailed recipe notes for future use.
Tourism department representatives stated that the workshop is open to homemakers, tourists, food enthusiasts, and anyone interested in regional cuisine. Since the number of seats is limited, registrations will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
