Actor NTR’s office issued an important clarification after reports emerged that some individuals and fan groups were collecting money from the public using the actor’s name. The team stated that neither NTR nor his official office has authorised any such donation drives or fundraising activities.

According to the statement, information had reached the team that certain groups were seeking contributions through social media platforms and WhatsApp networks while claiming to conduct service programmes on behalf of the actor. The office strongly denied any involvement in these collections and urged people not to trust such requests.

The team expressed concern that some people may be trying to misuse the public affection and strong fan following associated with NTR for personal benefit. Fans and members of the public were advised not to donate money to any organisation or individual using the actor’s name without official confirmation.

NTR’s office also clarified that any genuine charity initiative or welfare programme connected to the actor would only be announced through verified official social media accounts or authorised communication channels. Until then, people have been requested to remain cautious about suspicious fundraising campaigns.

The statement further appealed to fans to immediately report any doubtful donation collections to local authorities or the official NTR team. Many supporters of the actor have also started spreading awareness online, warning others not to fall victim to fake charity schemes carried out in his name.
