Motorola Set To Launch Moto G37 Series In India With Massive Battery And 5G Features
Motorola will launch Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power in India on May 19 with large batteries, 120Hz displays, Android 16 support, and powerful processors aimed at budget users.

Motorola is preparing to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of two new 5G devices next week. The company has officially confirmed that the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power will debut in the country on May 19. Even before the official unveiling, the upcoming smartphones have started attracting attention because of their battery capacity, upgraded software experience and feature packed specifications aimed at budget and mid range buyers.
Among the two models, the Moto G37 Power is already creating strong buzz due to its huge 7000mAh battery. Motorola claims the device can last up to three days on a single charge under regular usage conditions. This could make the smartphone an appealing option for users who are tired of charging their phones every day, especially gamers, travelers and heavy content consumers.
The company has also activated a dedicated microsite for the phones, revealing several important details ahead of launch. According to the information shared so far, both smartphones are expected to feature a 6.67 inch HD plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This higher refresh rate is likely to improve scrolling, gaming and video playback performance, offering smoother visuals compared to standard displays in this price category.
Motorola is reportedly equipping both the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. The chipset is expected to support 5G connectivity while also delivering improved multitasking performance. The smartphones may come with up to 12GB RAM support along with AI RAM Boost technology, which can use additional storage space for better app handling and reduced lag during heavy usage.
Camera performance is another area where Motorola appears to be focusing attention. The Moto G37 series is expected to feature a 50 megapixel primary rear camera with Quad Pixel technology designed to improve low light photography. For selfies and video calls, users may get an 8 megapixel front camera. While these phones are expected to stay within the affordable category, the camera setup could offer a balanced experience for casual photography and social media content creation.
Motorola is also bringing the latest Android experience to these devices. The Moto G37 series is expected to launch with Android 16 out of the box along with the company’s Hello UI. Motorola smartphones are often appreciated for their clean software experience with minimal unnecessary apps, and the company has also hinted at future Android 17 update support.
Durability features are also likely to be part of the package. Reports suggest both smartphones will carry MIL STD 810H certification, indicating they have been tested under different tough environmental conditions. An IP64 rating is also expected, offering protection against dust and water splashes. Motorola is further adding a vegan leather finish to improve the premium feel and in hand comfort of the devices.
Audio enthusiasts may also find the phones attractive as the Moto G37 series is expected to include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. This setup could improve the experience while watching movies, listening to music or playing games. Motorola is also expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature many users still prefer in the budget segment.
The Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power will officially launch in India on May 19 at 12 PM. After launch, both smartphones are expected to be available through Flipkart as well as offline retail stores across the country. With strong battery claims, modern software and practical features, Motorola appears ready to strengthen its position in the competitive mid range smartphone market.
