Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi delivered a strong message to Pakistan, warning that continued support for terrorism could have serious consequences for the neighbouring country.
Speaking about cross border terror activities, the Army Chief said India considers terrorists and those backing them equally responsible. He made it clear that the country will continue taking strict action against every form of terrorism that threatens national security.
General Dwivedi also referred to Operation Sindoor, which was launched after the killing of tourists in Pahalgam. He stated that during the operation, India presented evidence to the international community regarding the presence of terrorist camps operating inside Pakistan.
The Army Chief cautioned that if Pakistan does not change its approach, future responses from India could become even more intense. He remarked that Pakistan must decide whether it wants to continue on its current path or protect its place in history.
According to him, India remains focused on the progress and welfare of its people, but will respond firmly to any attempt aimed at creating obstacles or threatening the country’s peace and stability.
His comments come at a time when tensions between the two countries remain sensitive over security and cross border terrorism concerns.
