Bhatti Vikramarka Seeks Additional Financial Support For Telangana Development

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka urged the Centre to provide additional financial assistance aimed at accelerating development activities and welfare programs across the state. The request was made during meetings held in New Delhi focusing on financial support and long term infrastructure expansion.

A major part of the discussion centered on securing an additional allocation of Rs 5000 crore under a special assistance program. State officials believe the added financial support would help improve the pace of development works and strengthen ongoing welfare initiatives.

The Telangana government also sought relaxation from FRBM limits for loans linked to educational projects. Officials explained that the state is planning large investments in education infrastructure and considers the sector a key area for long term growth and human resource development.

During the discussions, Bhatti Vikramarka highlighted the state’s continued focus on strengthening public infrastructure and expanding opportunities in education. He stressed that large scale projects require policy flexibility and stronger financial support mechanisms.

The Deputy Chief Minister also discussed future industrial and energy related initiatives. He stated that Singareni is exploring opportunities in coal gasification and requested technical guidance and policy cooperation from the Centre to support the initiative.

State officials believe stronger collaboration between the Centre and Telangana could help speed up development projects and create long term economic benefits across multiple sectors.
