Ahead of the official unveiling, several leaks have revealed possible prices, storage options and major specifications for both smartphones, giving buyers a clearer idea of the budget they may need.

Fresh leaks from multiple international markets suggest that Xiaomi may position the 17T lineup in the premium smartphone category. Reports from the UAE indicate that the standard Xiaomi 17T could launch at AED 2599, which roughly converts to around Rs 68000. Meanwhile, separate leaks from the Philippines and Russia have hinted at different pricing structures depending on storage variants and regional taxes.

The Russian market leak paints an even more premium picture. Reports suggest the 256GB Xiaomi 17T could be priced near Rs 69000, while the 512GB version may cross Rs 73000. The Xiaomi 17T Pro appears to move further into flagship territory, with the 256GB variant reportedly listed around Rs 92000. Industry observers believe the Xiaomi 17T series could compete directly with other flagship Android devices in the global market, especially in regions where demand for high performance smartphones continues growing.

In India, tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed that the Xiaomi 17T 5G may launch with two storage variants including 12GB plus 256GB and 12GB plus 512GB. The expected starting price for the Indian market is said to be around Rs 59999, making it one of Xiaomi’s most premium mainstream launches in recent years.

The leaked specifications also suggest major upgrades in display technology. The Xiaomi 17T may feature a 6.59 inch display with 2756 x 1268 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Pro model could arrive with a larger 6.83 inch display featuring sharper 2772 x 1280 resolution and an even smoother 144Hz refresh rate designed for gaming and multimedia users.

Performance is expected to be another highlight of the series. The standard Xiaomi 17T may use the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro is rumored to feature the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Both smartphones are expected to include 12GB RAM and storage options reaching up to 512GB, while certain regions may also receive an exclusive 1TB version of the Pro model.

Battery upgrades could also play a key role in attracting buyers. Reports indicate that the Xiaomi 17T may house a large 6500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The Pro version could raise the bar further with a massive 7000mAh battery along with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.

Camera performance remains one of the biggest talking points surrounding the upcoming devices. Leaks suggest that both smartphones may feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor. The setup may also include a 50 megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom support and a 12 megapixel ultra wide camera for landscape photography and wider shots.

With official launch dates now close, smartphone enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to see whether Xiaomi can justify the premium pricing through performance, battery life and camera quality. The company appears ready to push deeper into the flagship segment as competition in the smartphone market continues becoming more intense.
