itel has expanded benefits for its 4G feature phone users by enabling a low cost Rs 123 Jio recharge plan offering unlimited calling and daily data access for 28 days across India.
Affordable smartphone and feature phone maker itel has announced a major update for its 4G feature phone users in India. The company has partnered with Reliance Jio to extend the availability of the popular Rs 123 monthly recharge plan across its entire 4G feature phone range. Earlier, this plan was limited only to selected Jio feature phone users, but now itel customers can also access it easily.
This move is expected to benefit millions of users who depend on feature phones for daily communication. Under the Rs 123 plan, users receive 28 days of validity along with unlimited voice calling across all networks. In addition, the plan offers 0.5GB high speed data per day, which adds up to around 14GB of total data during the validity period. According to the company, this affordable plan can help users save nearly Rs 1000 annually compared to other options.
Interestingly, the Rs 123 pack is not the only option now available. Itel users can also choose from other Jio prepaid plans such as the Rs 234 plan with 56 days validity, the Rs 369 plan offering 84 days validity, and the Rs 1234 long term plan with 336 days validity. All these plans come with the same daily 0.5GB data benefit, making them suitable for basic internet usage and communication needs.
The partnership between itel and Jio is being seen as an important step towards improving affordable digital connectivity in India. It is especially beneficial for users in rural areas and small towns where budget friendly communication services play a crucial role in daily life.
Along with this collaboration, itel has also strengthened its after sales support network in the country. The company currently operates through more than 1.3 lakh retail outlets and over 1000 service centres across India. To further build customer trust, itel is also offering a one year replacement policy. If any manufacturing defect is found within a year of purchase, customers can directly get their device replaced at the retail store.
