Jio Launches Rs 200 OTT Pass With 15 Streaming Apps and Unlimited 5G Benefits

Reliance Jio has expanded its entertainment offerings with the launch of a new Rs 200 OTT Pass designed for users who prefer watching movies, web series, live sports and television content on a single platform. The telecom company says the pack combines premium streaming services, live TV access and data benefits into one affordable recharge.

The newly introduced OTT Pass comes with access to 15 premium OTT platforms along with more than 1000 live TV channels through JioTV. According to the company, the combined value of subscriptions included in the pack is estimated to be nearly Rs 1500 per month, making it an attractive option for entertainment lovers who otherwise spend separately on multiple apps.

Jio has clarified that this is an add on entertainment pack and not a regular prepaid recharge plan. Users must already have an active base recharge plan with calling and SMS benefits before activating this OTT Pass. The new recharge became available from May 27, 2026 across online and offline platforms.

One of the major highlights of the pack is access to several popular streaming applications. Subscribers will be able to enjoy content from platforms including YouTube Premium, JioHotstar, Prime Video, SonyLiv, ZEE5, Discovery Plus, Sun NXT and FanCode along with a few regional OTT services. This allows users to stream movies, live sports events, original web series and television content without maintaining multiple separate subscriptions.

Apart from OTT access, the entertainment pack also includes more than 1000 live television channels through JioTV. The company says over 150 paid TV channels are part of the offering, covering categories such as entertainment, movies, sports, regional programming and infotainment content. This feature could especially appeal to viewers who rely heavily on mobile streaming for daily entertainment.

The data benefits included with the recharge are also significant. Users get 30GB of high speed 4G or 5G data during the validity period. Along with this, eligible subscribers can also use unlimited 5G data depending on their active base plan and network availability. The plan carries a maximum validity of 28 days linked with the validity of the existing active recharge.

Industry experts believe telecom operators are now increasingly focusing on bundled digital entertainment to retain subscribers in a highly competitive market. Instead of offering only data and calling benefits, companies are trying to create value through streaming partnerships and exclusive content access.

For users who regularly subscribe to multiple OTT apps every month, the new Jio entertainment pack may help reduce overall spending considerably. Mobile users who frequently stream cricket matches, television serials, movies and web content are likely to find the package especially useful.

The Rs 200 OTT Pass is currently available through the MyJio app, Jio website, retail stores and several third party recharge platforms across India.
