OnePlus Nord 6 Price Increased Again in India Within a Week
OnePlus Nord 6 becomes costlier for the second time within days as buyers face another major price hike despite flagship specifications powerful gaming features and a massive 9000mAh battery

OnePlus users in India have received another surprise as the company has once again increased the price of its popular Nord 6 smartphone. This is the second price hike within just one week, making the device significantly more expensive compared to its original launch pricing. The latest increase has left many smartphone buyers disappointed, especially those planning to upgrade in the premium mid range category.
The revised pricing affects both available variants of the OnePlus Nord 6. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model was originally introduced at Rs 38999 but is now priced at Rs 42999. Similarly, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version, which launched at Rs 41999, has now reached Rs 47999. Overall, selected variants of the smartphone have become nearly Rs 6000 costlier than their launch prices within a short period.
Reports suggest that the company recently increased the price of both variants by another Rs 1000. Industry experts believe rising manufacturing expenses, increasing import costs and fluctuations in currency value are among the major reasons behind frequent smartphone price revisions in India. Several smartphone brands have already adjusted their pricing in recent months and OnePlus has now joined that trend.
Despite the repeated price hike, the OnePlus Nord 6 continues to attract attention because of its powerful specifications and premium features. The smartphone features a large 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The display is designed to deliver smooth scrolling, responsive gaming and a better video viewing experience for users.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which is capable of handling heavy gaming, multitasking and AI based functions efficiently. OnePlus has also added support for 165FPS gaming, making the device appealing for mobile gaming enthusiasts. The smartphone runs on Android 16 based OxygenOS 16 and comes with AI powered features such as Circle to Search and Google Gemini integration.
Photography is another strong highlight of the OnePlus Nord 6. The device includes a 50 megapixel Sony LYTIA primary camera with optical image stabilisation support for stable and clear photos. It is paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera for wider shots and landscape photography. On the front, the smartphone offers a 32 megapixel selfie camera for video calls and social media content.
One of the biggest attractions of the smartphone is its massive 9000mAh battery, which is expected to deliver extended usage throughout the day. The device also supports 80W fast charging that helps recharge the battery quickly. OnePlus claims the smartphone is built for heavy users including gamers and content creators who require long lasting battery performance.
The company has also added IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, improving the overall durability of the device. In addition, OnePlus has promised four years of Android updates and six years of security updates, making the Nord 6 a long term option for many users.
Although the latest price increase may disappoint many customers, the OnePlus Nord 6 still remains one of the most feature packed smartphones in its category. However, buyers now need to spend considerably more than expected if they plan to purchase the device in India.
