Overall, selected variants of the smartphone have become nearly Rs 6000 costlier than their launch prices within a short period.
Reports suggest that the company recently increased the price of both variants by another Rs 1000. Industry experts believe rising manufacturing expenses, increasing import costs and fluctuations in currency value are among the major reasons behind frequent smartphone price revisions in India. Several smartphone brands have already adjusted their pricing in recent months and OnePlus has now joined that trend.
Despite the repeated price hike, the OnePlus Nord 6 continues to attract attention because of its powerful specifications and premium features. The smartphone features a large 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
