Lava has confirmed the launch of Bold N2 5G in India on June 3 with clean Android 16 software stylish design Amazon availability and free home service support.

Indian smartphone brand Lava is preparing to expand its affordable 5G smartphone lineup with the upcoming launch of the Lava Bold N2 5G. After introducing the 4G version earlier, the company has now officially confirmed that the new 5G model will debut in India on June 3 at 12 PM. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Amazon India, where a dedicated microsite has already gone live ahead of the launch.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to target budget conscious buyers looking for a stylish device with modern software and 5G connectivity. Lava has also revealed part of the phone’s design, giving users an early look at its appearance. The device will arrive in a blue colour option and feature a square shaped rear camera module positioned on the top left corner of the back panel.
The camera setup appears to include dual rear sensors along with an LED flash. Based on the teaser images, the primary rear camera could feature a 13 megapixel sensor. The design language looks clean and modern, which may help the smartphone stand out in the highly competitive budget segment.
One of the major highlights confirmed by Lava is the clean Android 16 experience. The company has promoted the smartphone as a device free from unnecessary bloatware and intrusive advertisements. This could appeal to users who prefer a smooth and clutter free software experience without excessive pre installed apps.
Lava has also announced that buyers of the Bold N2 5G will receive free home service support. The company has been focusing on improving after sales service in recent years and this feature could become an important advantage for customers in smaller cities and towns.
While detailed specifications of the 5G model are still under wraps, expectations are high that the company may introduce upgrades over the existing 4G variant. The launch microsite currently confirms Android 16 support, but more hardware details are expected to be revealed closer to the launch event.
The previously launched Lava Bold N2 4G came with a 6.75 inch HD Plus display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate. It featured a Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The device also supported virtual RAM expansion and packed a 5000mAh battery for all day usage.
For photography, the 4G version offered a dual rear camera setup led by a 13 megapixel main sensor, while selfies and video calls were handled by a 5 megapixel front camera. The smartphone also carried an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes along with a side mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
Lava has been steadily strengthening its presence in the Indian smartphone market by focusing on affordable devices with clean software and practical features. With the Bold N2 5G, the company now aims to attract users looking to shift to 5G smartphones without spending heavily.
As competition in the entry level 5G segment continues to grow rapidly, the success of the Lava Bold N2 5G may depend on how aggressively the company prices the device and what additional features it offers at launch.
