Jio Opens Cheapest Long Validity Plans for Lava Nokia and HMD 4G Feature Phone Users

Jio has expanded its affordable feature phone recharge plans to Lava Nokia itel and HMD users offering long validity unlimited calling daily data and entertainment benefits at low prices.

Millions of users in India still rely on 4G feature phones for daily communication despite the rapid expansion of 5G services across the country. In villages, small towns and among senior citizens, keypad phones continue to remain popular because of their affordability and simple usage. Now, Reliance Jio has brought major relief for these users by extending its budget friendly recharge plans beyond JioPhone devices.

Until now, Jio’s cheapest feature phone recharge plans were available only for JioPhone and Jio Bharat customers. The company has now opened these plans to users of other popular 4G feature phone brands including Lava, Nokia, itel and HMD. This means people using compatible 4G keypad phones can now access low cost calling and internet services without switching devices.

One of the most talked about options is the Jio Rs 123 plan. This recharge comes with 28 days validity and is designed for users looking for affordable connectivity. Customers get unlimited voice calls on all networks along with 0.5GB of 4G data every day. The plan also includes 300 SMS benefits, making it suitable for basic internet browsing and regular communication needs.

For users who want longer validity without frequent recharges, Jio is also offering the Rs 234 plan. This pack stays active for 56 days and provides unlimited calling benefits throughout the validity period. Subscribers also receive 0.5GB daily data along with SMS benefits. Earlier restricted to JioPhone users, the plan can now be activated on several 4G feature phones from different brands.

Another option gaining attention is the Rs 369 recharge pack. The plan offers a full 84 days validity and delivers 0.5GB data per day, adding up to a total of 42GB during the validity period. Unlimited voice calling is included as well, making it a convenient choice for users who prefer longer uninterrupted service at a controlled budget.

The biggest attraction, however, is Jio’s Rs 1234 annual style plan. The recharge remains valid for 336 days, allowing users to stay connected for almost an entire year with a single payment. When calculated on a daily basis, the expense comes to nearly Rs 4 per day. The plan offers unlimited voice calls and 0.5GB daily 4G data, taking the total data allowance to 168GB during the complete validity period.

Jio has also bundled entertainment services with these recharge packs. Users can access JioTV for live television content and JioSaavn for music streaming at no additional cost. These added benefits make the plans more attractive for feature phone users who are gradually adopting digital entertainment services.

Industry observers believe this move could strengthen Jio’s position in the affordable connectivity market, especially in regions where smartphones are still not the first choice. By allowing Lava, Nokia, HMD and itel feature phone users to access these plans, the company is targeting a much wider customer base looking for reliable service at lower costs.

The decision also highlights that feature phones continue to play an important role in India’s telecom ecosystem. While smartphones dominate urban markets, affordable keypad phones remain essential for many users who prioritize battery life, simplicity and low maintenance costs over advanced smartphone features.
