Mom kills young daughter, son, later attempts suicide

Chennai: In a shocking incident, a woman, who has been- suffering from a nagging headache due to a neurological problem, killed her two young children and later attempted suicide at Olapalayam village near Vellakoil in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu last evening. The incident came to light today when the bodies of her daughter Harshita(12) and son Kalaivendan (7) were found at their farmland. She later attempted to end her life. Police said the children’s mother Revathi (39) has been under mental stress after she was diagnosed to have suffered from a neurological disorder, which prompted her to kill her two young children.
