JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Results Declared, 12 Students Secure Perfect 100 Percentile

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results are out with 12 students scoring a perfect 100 percentile nationwide, including three from Telugu states, as lakhs of aspirants check their scores online.

The wait is finally over for lakhs of engineering aspirants and their families. The results of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 were officially announced on Monday, February 16, by the National Testing Agency. Candidates who appeared for Paper 1 can now access their scorecards through the official website using their application number and date of birth.

This year’s results have drawn special attention as twelve students across the country achieved a perfect 100 percentile score. Among them, three students from the Telugu states stood out with exceptional performances. From Andhra Pradesh, Mahit Narendra Babu and Pasala Mohit secured full percentile scores, while Telangana’s Vivan Sharad Maheshwari also joined the elite list of toppers.

JEE Main Paper 1 examinations were conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 across multiple centers nationwide. Nearly 13.5 lakh candidates registered for the exam, with about 95 percent appearing for the test. Meanwhile, the results for Paper 2 conducted on January 29 are expected to be announced shortly.

With Session 1 results now declared, students are shifting their focus to Session 2. Those who are not satisfied with their current scores have another opportunity to improve their performance. Registration for the second session is already open and will remain available until February 25, 2026. Candidates who applied for both sessions during the initial registration do not need to apply again.

The Session 2 examinations are scheduled to be held from April 2 to April 9 in online mode across the country. Once Session 2 results are released, the National Testing Agency will publish the combined All India Ranks. The top 2.5 lakh rank holders will qualify to appear for JEE Advanced 2026.

JEE Advanced registrations are set to begin on April 23, with the examination scheduled for May 17, 2026. Based on these results, admissions will be offered into undergraduate and integrated programs at 23 Indian Institutes of Technology, with IIT Roorkee conducting JEE Advanced 2026.
