New Delhi is set to witness a major gathering of influential voices as the TV9 What India Thinks Today Summit 2026 begins with a strong focus on India’s evolving global presence and future direction. The two day event is expected to serve as a platform where ideas, policies and perspectives converge.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit and deliver a keynote address on the opening day. His participation marks the third consecutive appearance at this flagship event, reflecting the growing importance of the summit in shaping national discourse. The country is closely watching his message, especially on India’s rising influence on the global stage.

Organised by TV9 Network, one of the largest news platforms in the country, the summit brings together prominent figures from politics, business, sports and culture. The theme India and the World highlights discussions around economic growth, governance, innovation and international relations.

The event will feature Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Jyotiraditya Scindia along with former Union Minister Smriti Irani. Political leaders such as Akhilesh Yadav, DK Shivakumar, and Asaduddin Owaisi will also share their views. Chief Ministers including Mohan Yadav, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Bhajanlal Sharma, Revanth Reddy, and Bhagwant Mann are part of the discussions.

Beyond politics, the summit includes voices from literature, wellness and sports. Poet Kumar Vishwas, lyricists Sameer Anjaan and Neelesh Misra, and writer Yatindra Mishra are among the speakers. Yoga guru Swami Ramdev will also address the gathering.

From the sports arena, former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, T20 World Cup champions Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh, along with cricketer Deepti Sharma and bowling coach Avishkar Salvi will participate, offering diverse perspectives.

The summit will continue into its second day with more sessions aimed at exploring India’s growth story and its position in a rapidly changing world. Notably, in the previous edition, Prime Minister Modi had highlighted the government’s achievements and praised the network’s expanding reach from regional to global audiences.
