Intermediate examinations in Andhra Pradesh are set to begin from tomorrow, with authorities enforcing stringent rules to ensure fairness and discipline. The Board of Intermediate Education has made it clear that students arriving even a minute late will not be allowed to enter examination centres.
This year, nearly 10,57,312 students will appear for the AP Inter Exams across 1,537 examination centres statewide. Officials said the scale of the examinations demanded tighter supervision and uniform enforcement of rules to avoid malpractice and confusion on exam days.
Students have been advised to reach their centres at least thirty minutes before the scheduled start time. Electronic devices such as mobile phones smart watches calculators and other digital gadgets are completely banned inside exam halls. The restrictions apply not only to students but also to invigilators and examination staff.
To strengthen monitoring, CCTV cameras have been installed at every examination centre and will be watched live from a central control room. Authorities warned that violations of exam rules will invite strict action without exception.
The transport department has also arranged special bus services to help students reach centres on time. Officials urged candidates to safeguard their hall tickets carefully and follow instructions to ensure a smooth examination process.
