Google AI Hub Foundation Stone Next Month as Andhra Pradesh Expands Data Centre Vision
The Andhra Pradesh government has fast tracked plans to develop a large scale Google AI hub near Visakhapatnam expanding land allocation and positioning the state as a future global artificial intelligence destination

The Andhra Pradesh government has taken a major step towards its ambition of turning the state into an artificial intelligence powerhouse. Preparations are underway to lay the foundation stone for the Google AI Hub next month as part of a massive data centre project in North Andhra
To strengthen the scale of the project the state has increased land allocation from the originally planned 480 acres to 601.4 acres. Revised orders have been issued and land acquisition has already been completed with compensation distributed to all affected landowners
The project will be spread across three strategic locations. Around 266.6 acres have been allotted at Tharluvada while 160 acres fall under the Adavivaram and Mudasarlova belt. Another 174.8 acres have been earmarked at Rambilli in Anakapalli district. The land has been handed over to Adani Infra India Limited which is overseeing infrastructure arrangements on behalf of Raiden Infotech
Officials say the expansion reflects the growing global demand for AI driven data services. The proposed facility will not be limited to data storage but is expected to function as a global service hub for leading technology companies. This is likely to transform the IT landscape of Visakhapatnam and attract significant international investment
Industry experts believe the project will generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs particularly in IT software engineering and data analytics. For local youth in North Andhra this development is seen as a turning point that could open doors to high end technology careers and accelerate regional growth
