Kakinada SEZ lands survey, registration to be expedited: Collector

Kakinada, Jan 4: District Collector Kritika Sukla has asked the revenue officials and the private organizations representatives to expedite the survey on Kakinada SEZ lands and also the process of registration of lands in the name of farmers.Reviewing the situation on KSEZ lands at a meeting held at the Collectorate here on Wednesday, the Collector said that the lands pertaining to U Kothapalli mandal were denotified and in regard to lands of U Kothapalli and Thondangi mandals so far survey and registration of 384 acres was completed and handed over to the farmers .`Similarly, registration work regarding the alternative land to be given to the farmers was completed for 283 acres . In the remaining lands the survey and registration should be completed on war footing and the lands handed over to the farmers. The officials of Revenue, survey, registration , roads and Buildings, Irrigation departments should work in liaison so as to complete the work expeditiously’ she added. Kakinada and Peddapuram RDOs B V Ramana , Seetharamarao, Aurobindo group representatives CRM Naidu, V Durgaprasad, M Srinivasulu Reddy were among those took part in the deliberations.
