Hyderabad is set to take global centre stage as BioAsia returns with its 23rd edition, bringing together the world’s leading minds in life sciences, biotechnology and healthcare for a high impact international conference.

Recognised as one of the most prestigious platforms in the life sciences sector, BioAsia 2026 will be held under the theme TechBio Unleashed AI Automation Biology Revolution. The two day summit will see participation from nearly three thousand delegates representing fifty countries, signalling Hyderabad’s growing global influence in healthcare innovation.

The event will be inaugurated on February 17 by Revanth Reddy along with Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu. Their presence underscores the Telangana government’s focus on positioning the state as a preferred destination for life sciences investment.

This year’s conference will place strong emphasis on how artificial intelligence and automation are transforming biology, drug discovery and medical research. Renowned experts including cancer gene therapy specialist Professor Bruce L Levine and Amgen Chief Scientific Officer Doctor Howard Y Chang will deliver keynote addresses. The conference will also feature prominent Indian voices such as Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India Professor Ajay Kumar Sood and former ISRO chairman S Somanath, adding depth to the discussions.

A major highlight of BioAsia 2026 will be the exclusive CEO Conclave, where Indian pharma giants like Dr Reddys, Biocon and Cipla will engage with global players including Novartis and AstraZeneca. Discussions will focus on advanced areas such as cell and gene therapy, mRNA technology and the future of precision medicine.
