Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to visit Bhadrachalam today on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, marking an important spiritual and administrative engagement.
During his visit, the Chief Minister will take part in the grand Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, one of the most significant rituals celebrated at the temple. The ceremony will be held at Mithila Stadium between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm in the presence of thousands of devotees.
Along with participating in the celebrations, the Chief Minister and his spouse will offer traditional silk clothes and sacred talambralu to the deity on behalf of the state government.
In addition to the religious event, Revanth Reddy will also initiate development works for the temple. He is scheduled to perform the foundation ceremony for the first phase of the temple expansion project, which is estimated to cost Rs 351 crore.
The visit reflects the government’s focus on both preserving spiritual traditions and improving infrastructure at one of Telangana’s most prominent pilgrimage centers.
Officials have made elaborate arrangements for the visit and the festival, expecting a large gathering of devotees for the occasion.
