BJP MP Etela Rajender has strongly criticized the handling of the ongoing RTC strike, warning Chief Minister Revanth Reddy that ignoring workers’ concerns could have serious political consequences.

Speaking to the media, Etela drew parallels with the tenure of K Chandrashekar Rao, stating that the earlier government faced setbacks due to its approach towards RTC employees. He cautioned that a similar path could lead to a comparable outcome for the current leadership if the issue is not addressed promptly.

He alleged that RTC workers are being pushed to extreme distress, accusing the government of failing to honor promises made during elections. According to him, the struggles of workers are not going unnoticed and have the backing of people across Telangana.

Etela emphasized the harsh working conditions faced by RTC employees, pointing out that many are working long hours under difficult weather conditions. He urged the government to initiate immediate discussions with workers and resolve the strike through dialogue rather than confrontation.

At the same time, he appealed to RTC workers to remain strong and avoid taking extreme steps. He encouraged them to continue their fight through democratic means, assuring that public support remains firmly with them.

The BJP leader also demanded that the government fulfill legitimate demands and stop any actions that could weaken the RTC system, stressing that a negotiated solution is the only way forward.
