In a move aimed at strengthening public trust and accessibility, the Hyderabad Police have introduced a new citizen centric initiative titled Meet Your CP, offering residents a direct platform to interact with the city’s top police official.

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police VC Sajjanar formally launched the programme on Thursday, encouraging people from all parts of the city to meet him in person, share grievances and offer suggestions related to public safety and policing.

Under the initiative, citizens can meet the Commissioner every day from 2:00 pm onwards at the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre in Banjara Hills. In addition, on Fridays, he will be available at the Kotwal House in Purani Haveli, making the outreach accessible across different parts of the city.

Sajjanar clarified that no prior appointment is required to participate in the programme. He said the objective is to remove barriers between the police leadership and the public, ensuring that concerns are heard directly and addressed promptly.

The Hyderabad Police have urged residents to make effective use of this opportunity, describing it as a step toward transparent and responsive policing. Officials believe regular interaction will help improve service delivery and strengthen community confidence.

Announcing the programme on social media, the Commissioner reiterated his availability and invited citizens to engage openly. The Meet Your CP initiative is expected to serve as a consistent channel for dialogue between the police and the people of Hyderabad.
