Union Minister Kishan Reddy has written to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy requesting immediate action to complete the pending service road works beneath the Amberpet flyover in Hyderabad. He expressed concern that delays in land acquisition have left the project incomplete and are causing serious inconvenience to daily commuters.

The flyover on National Highway 163 was constructed by the central government with an investment of about two hundred sixty five crore rupees. Stretching nearly one and a half kilometres with four lanes, the project was designed to reduce traffic congestion in the busy Amberpet area. The flyover was inaugurated on May five twenty twenty five by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

However the service road that was planned under the flyover has not yet been completed. Kishan Reddy pointed out that the absence of this road has created major traffic problems and forced motorists to face daily difficulties while passing through the area.

In his letter the Union Minister noted that the project had originally been approved in twenty eighteen but land acquisition issues continue to delay the work. Although compensation amounting to about two point five four crore rupees has been paid to beneficiaries, he alleged that certain obstacles and middlemen are preventing the completion of the process.

Kishan Reddy also mentioned that he had raised the issue earlier with former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as well as the current state government. He recalled that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had previously discussed the matter with state authorities as well.

Highlighting the Centre commitment to infrastructure development in Telangana, the minister stated that national highway projects worth about one point eight five lakh crore rupees have been allocated to the state. He also noted that all thirty three districts in Telangana are now connected by national highways.

Urging the Chief Minister to personally intervene, Kishan Reddy requested that the state government direct GHMC and roads and buildings officials to remove the remaining obstacles and complete the Amberpet flyover service road at the earliest. He said the move would greatly ease traffic and improve commuting conditions for thousands of people using the route every day.
