A series of sudden deaths involving people from Warangal in the United States has created concern among families and the wider community, with three individuals reportedly dying of heart attacks in separate incidents.
The deaths have drawn attention to growing health risks among Indians working abroad, especially in high pressure sectors like information technology. Experts point to long working hours, stress and lack of work life balance as possible contributing factors behind such incidents.
Among the deceased is Tadipatri Rakesh, a 41 year old software engineer from Warangal, who died after suffering a heart attack in the US. In another case, Swetha, also aged 41 and believed to be from Hanumakonda, passed away suddenly under similar circumstances, leaving her family in shock.
Adding to the tragedy, Vijayarani, a 55 year old woman who had travelled to the US to visit her grandchild, also died of a heart attack. The back to back incidents involving individuals from the same region have intensified grief among families back home.
The incidents have sparked discussions about the physical and mental strain faced by professionals living overseas. Health experts warn that irregular lifestyles, high stress levels and limited focus on personal wellbeing can increase the risk of heart related conditions.
Families and community members are calling for greater awareness around health management, urging individuals working abroad to prioritise regular checkups and maintain a balanced lifestyle to avoid such tragedies.
