Authorities and weather observers have warned people across Telangana to prepare for extremely hot conditions over the coming days as temperatures continue to rise sharply in many regions of the state.
According to forecasts, several districts marked under high risk zones are likely to experience severe heatwave conditions starting from May 14. Northern and eastern parts of Telangana are expected to face the highest impact, with temperatures in some locations possibly climbing close to 47 degrees Celsius.
Residents have been advised to remain cautious during afternoon hours as the risk of heatstroke is expected to increase significantly. People are being encouraged to avoid unnecessary travel under direct sunlight and stay hydrated during the peak heat period.
Hyderabad is also likely to witness uncomfortable weather conditions during the heatwave spell. Temperature levels in the city are expected to remain between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius for several days, increasing discomfort for residents.
Health experts have urged elderly people, children, and outdoor workers to take extra precautions as prolonged exposure to extreme heat may lead to dehydration and other health complications. Officials are continuing to monitor weather conditions closely across the state.
