The Telangana government has finalized the schedule for the Telangana Census 2027 house listing process. As part of the first phase officials will conduct house listing across the state from May 11 to June 9.
Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao directed district collectors to closely supervise the census activities at the ground level. Authorities have been instructed to ensure that every residential building across villages urban areas slums and remote regions is included in the census process.
The Telangana government is preparing to carry out this massive exercise with strict monitoring and careful planning. Officials say accurate data collection is important for designing future welfare schemes and development policies in the state.
For the first time the census process will be conducted through a completely digital system. Enumerators will record household information using a specially designed mobile application which will directly transmit the data to government servers.
Officials believe that using smartphones and digital technology will improve both the speed and accuracy of data collection. Advanced technology will also be used to ensure the safety and security of the collected information.
In addition to field surveys citizens will also have the option to submit their details online through the self enumeration facility. This system allows people especially in urban areas to enter their household information without waiting for enumerators.
The online self enumeration process will begin about fifteen days before the field survey starts. Authorities are planning to provide special training to enumerators and supervisors so the Telangana Census 2027 house listing process can be completed smoothly across the state.
