Telangana Launches MeeSeva WhatsApp Services for Property and Registration Needs

Telangana launches MeeSeva WhatsApp services enabling citizens to access property registration stamp duty and EC services online reducing office visits and improving digital governance across the state efficiently

In a major step towards digital governance, the Telangana government has introduced MeeSeva WhatsApp services, allowing citizens to access property and registration related services directly through their mobile phones.

The initiative, launched under the guidance of IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, aims to simplify government services and reduce the need for physical visits to sub registrar offices. Officials say the move will enhance accessibility and bring more convenience to citizens across the state.

MeeSeva Commissioner T Ravikiran explained that users can now access services such as stamp duty payments, property registration, and encumbrance certificates through WhatsApp. The platform, which already provided services like birth certificates, income certificates and utility bill payments, has now expanded its scope significantly.

To use the service, citizens need to save the official MeeSeva WhatsApp number and send a message to begin the process. The system guides users through filling forms, submitting details and making payments online, making the entire process more streamlined.

For certain services such as penalty payments or document related issues, users may still need to visit the sub registrar office after completing online steps. However, many services including encumbrance certificates can be delivered digitally once approved.

The platform also offers additional services like stamp purchases, franking, society registrations, RTI applications and firm related services. Officials believe this expansion will save time, reduce paperwork and improve transparency in public service delivery.

With the launch of MeeSeva WhatsApp services, Telangana continues to strengthen its digital infrastructure, making government services faster and more accessible for its citizens.
