As uncertainty spreads across West Asia following the intensifying Iran Israel conflict the Telangana government has moved swiftly to safeguard its people living abroad. With lakhs of Telangana residents based in Gulf nations the situation has prompted urgent administrative action.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed officials to establish a dedicated control room at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to provide real time assistance. The facility will function round the clock and serve as a single point of contact for Telangana residents stranded in Gulf countries and their families in India.

Officials said the control room will coordinate closely with the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian embassies in affected countries. The focus is on tracking citizens impacted by flight cancellations security alerts and travel restrictions while ensuring timely support including accommodation and onward travel where required.

According to government estimates nearly fifteen lakh people from Telangana live and work in Gulf nations with large numbers from districts such as Nizamabad and Karimnagar. Authorities have been instructed to prioritise cases involving medical emergencies job losses and passengers stranded at international airports.
