Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has rolled out a major expansion plan aimed at bringing bus services closer to people who have long faced connectivity gaps. The move focuses on new infrastructure alongside upgrades to existing facilities.

Under the plan TGSRTC will build thirteen new bus stations across different districts while modernising select old bus stands. Officials say this will ease daily travel for local residents and improve passenger comfort with better designed terminals.

Along with stations the corporation is also investing in new depots to strengthen operations. In Peddapalli a new depot is being built at a cost of Rs 11.01 crore with construction progressing rapidly. Old structures have been removed and yard levelling work is currently underway.

Another depot is coming up at Eturunagaram spread over 3.79 acres with an estimated cost of Rs 5.91 crore. Transport officials aim to complete this project by October this year.
