Big Discounts Expected as New 5G Smartphones Go on First Sale in India

Multiple smartphone brands including Vivo, Realme, Oppo and Infinix are set to launch first sale offers with bank discounts, exchange deals and attractive pricing across premium and budget 5G segments

The upcoming week is shaping up to be a busy one for smartphone buyers, with several new 5G devices hitting their first sale across online platforms. Brands are rolling out aggressive pricing strategies, combining launch discounts, bank offers and exchange deals to attract early adopters.

Among the most feature packed options is the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G, which will go on sale starting April 20. The device is positioned in the mid premium segment but becomes far more appealing with bundled offers. Buyers using select bank cards can avail instant discounts, and additional perks such as extended warranty, free accessories and subscription benefits are also part of the launch package. The phone stands out with its AMOLED display, high brightness levels and a large battery paired with fast and wireless charging support.

Close on its heels, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G will be available from April 21 via online channels. Vivo is pushing this model with a mix of performance and durability, offering a high refresh rate AMOLED display and a powerful chipset. The company is also providing instant bank discounts and exchange bonuses, which effectively lower the entry price for buyers looking at the higher variants.

In the affordable category, the Realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G is expected to draw attention. Scheduled for sale on the same day, the device focuses on delivering large battery capacity and smooth display performance at a lower price point. With additional bank offers in place, it could appeal to budget conscious users entering the 5G ecosystem.

Another strong contender in the premium mid range space is the Oppo F33 Pro 5G, which will go on sale a couple of days later. Oppo is emphasizing design and camera capabilities, alongside a bright AMOLED panel and fast charging support. Cashback offers and EMI options are being used to make the pricing more competitive during the initial sale window.

Across all four models, brands are clearly targeting different segments while maintaining a common strategy of aggressive launch pricing. High refresh rate displays, large batteries and improved camera systems have become standard expectations, and these new launches reflect that shift.

What makes this sales window particularly interesting is the overlap of offers. Consumers now have the flexibility to choose between performance driven devices, camera focused phones or budget friendly options without stepping out of the 5G category.

With multiple launches happening almost simultaneously, buyers may need to compare not just specifications but also the total effective price after discounts. For many, this first sale period could be the best opportunity to grab a new device at a significantly reduced cost.
