boAt Launches Affordable Smartwatches With Type C Charging and Advanced Fitness Features
boAt has introduced two new smartwatches featuring Type C charging, Bluetooth calling, fitness tracking, long battery life, and modern displays, making everyday smartwatch usage simpler and convenient.

boAt has expanded its wearable portfolio in India with the launch of two new smartwatches, the Storm Call 4 and Ultima Vogue 2. The latest models are drawing attention for introducing a more convenient charging solution, allowing users to power their smartwatches using the same Type C charger commonly used for smartphones, laptops, and other modern devices.
The move reflects a growing trend toward simplifying everyday technology. Instead of carrying separate magnetic charging accessories for smartwatches, users can now rely on a standard Type C cable, reducing clutter and making charging more convenient while traveling or at home.
Among the two new launches, the Storm Call 4 is positioned as an affordable option designed for daily use. Despite its budget friendly pricing, the smartwatch offers a large 1.96 inch HD display with brightness levels reaching up to 500 nits. The watch also includes a functional crown for easier navigation through menus and settings.
Fitness and health tracking remain key highlights of the Storm Call 4. The smartwatch supports more than 100 sports modes, allowing users to monitor various physical activities. Additional wellness features include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, sleep analysis, stress monitoring, and female wellness tracking. The device also comes equipped with Bluetooth calling functionality and an Emergency SOS feature aimed at enhancing user safety.
Durability has also been considered in the design. The Storm Call 4 carries an IP68 rating, providing protection against dust, sweat, and water exposure. According to the company, a single charge can deliver up to 12 days of battery life, making it suitable for users who prefer longer usage between charging sessions.
For customers seeking a more premium experience, boAt has introduced the Ultima Vogue 2. This model features a 1.96 inch AMOLED display that offers richer colors and deeper contrast compared to standard LCD panels. With brightness levels reaching up to 1000 nits, the display is designed to remain visible even under strong sunlight.
The Ultima Vogue 2 also stands out with its metallic frame design, giving the smartwatch a more refined and premium appearance. Along with the enhanced display, it includes Bluetooth calling support, IP68 water and dust resistance, and Type C charging convenience.
Health and fitness capabilities remain comprehensive on the premium model as well. Users can access heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, sleep tracking, stress management tools, and more than 100 sports modes. The company claims the smartwatch can provide up to 10 days of battery life on a full charge.
Pricing is one of the strongest selling points of the new lineup. The Storm Call 4 has been introduced at a price of Rs 1599, making it one of the more affordable smartwatches in its category. Meanwhile, the Ultima Vogue 2 is available at Rs 2799, targeting users who want premium styling and a higher quality display without spending significantly more.
With the addition of Type C charging, attractive pricing, and a wide range of health and fitness features, boAt is aiming to make smartwatches more practical for everyday users. The new models are expected to appeal to consumers looking for convenience, long battery life, and modern smartwatch functionality at accessible price points.
Pre bookings for the Storm Call 4 have already begun, while both devices are scheduled to become available through the company’s online channels and retail platforms in the coming weeks.
