BSNL Bharat Connect 26 Annual Plan Nears Deadline With 949GB Data Offer

BSNL limited period Bharat Connect 26 prepaid plan offering 365 days validity 949GB total data unlimited calls and daily SMS benefits will be withdrawn on February 24 2026

Subscribers looking for a long term prepaid option have only a few days left to activate one of BSNL most talked about annual plans. Bharat Connect 26, a special recharge introduced around Republic Day, is set to be discontinued on February 24 2026. The telecom operator has confirmed that the offer was launched for a limited window and will not remain in circulation beyond the deadline.

Priced at Rs 2626, the plan delivers 365 days of validity in a single recharge. For users tired of monthly renewals, the appeal lies in its one time payment structure that keeps the number active for a full year. When broken down, the daily cost comes to roughly Rs 7.19, making it a competitive option in the long validity segment.

The data allocation is one of its headline features. Customers receive 2.6GB per day, which totals 949GB over the entire validity period. Once the daily quota is exhausted, internet speeds are reduced to 40Kbps. Alongside data, the plan includes unlimited voice calls across all networks and 100 SMS per day, amounting to 36500 messages annually.

BSNL introduced the Bharat Connect 26 plan as a festive period offering, and it went live on January 24 2026. With the closing date now approaching, users who find the benefits suitable are advised to recharge before February 24. Information and activation are available through the official website of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, the self care app, or customer support channels.

While Bharat Connect 26 is drawing attention due to its withdrawal, it is not the only yearly plan in the company portfolio. BSNL also offers a Rs 2399 prepaid option with 365 days validity. This plan provides 2.5GB data per day, translating to 912GB annually, along with unlimited calls and 100 daily SMS. After the daily data cap is reached, speeds drop to 40Kbps. The effective daily expense works out to about Rs 6.57.

Another alternative is the Rs 2799 annual plan. With a per day cost of approximately Rs 7.66, subscribers receive 3GB data per day, or 1095GB over the full year. Unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day are also part of the package, with post limit speeds reduced to 40Kbps once the daily data allowance is consumed.

For many prepaid users, long validity plans offer peace of mind and budgeting convenience. As the February 24 deadline approaches, Bharat Connect 26 stands out as a short term opportunity for those seeking substantial yearly data and calling benefits without the hassle of repeated recharges.
