BSNL Rolls Out Limited Time Prepaid Offers with Extra Data and Extended Validity
BSNL introduces limited period prepaid benefits including additional daily data and extended validity across select plans, urging users to recharge before the offer deadline ends on March 31, 2026.

State run telecom operator BSNL has launched a short term promotional offer on several prepaid plans, giving users more data and extended validity at no extra cost. However, the company has made it clear that these benefits will only be available until March 31, making it a time sensitive opportunity for subscribers.
Among the most attractive options is the Rs 2399 prepaid plan, which now comes with enhanced daily data. Instead of the standard 2GB per day, users are currently getting 2.5GB daily, significantly increasing the total yearly data allowance. This plan continues to offer 365 days of validity, along with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day, making it a strong choice for long term users seeking value.
The company has also extended similar benefits to its Rs 485 plan, which is valid for 72 days. Under the ongoing offer, subscribers receive 2.5GB of data per day, up from the usual 2GB. Along with this boost, users still get unlimited voice calls and daily SMS benefits. Once the daily data limit is exhausted, internet speeds drop significantly, which remains unchanged across both plans.
In addition to extra data, BSNL is also focusing on extending validity in one of its mid range plans. The Rs 997 prepaid plan, which typically comes with 150 days of service, is now being offered with an additional 14 days. This effectively stretches the validity to 164 days and also increases the overall data allocation since users continue to receive 2GB per day during the extended period.
Industry observers say such limited period offers are aimed at retaining existing users and attracting new subscribers in a competitive telecom market. With affordability and long validity becoming key factors for users, BSNL’s latest move is expected to generate strong interest, especially among budget conscious customers.
Customers interested in these benefits are advised to recharge before the deadline, as the company has not indicated any extension beyond March 31. Once the offer expires, the plans are likely to revert to their original benefits without the additional data or extended usage period.
