iQOO Z11 Teased With Massive 9020mAh Battery and 165Hz Display Ahead of Expected Launch

The upcoming iQOO smartphone is confirmed to feature a 165Hz display and a massive 9020mAh battery, positioning it as a strong contender in the competitive mid range smartphone market.

A new smartphone from iQOO is preparing to enter the spotlight, and early details suggest the company is focusing heavily on battery life and display performance. The upcoming device, called the iQOO Z11, has been officially teased by the brand, revealing some of its key specifications ahead of launch.

The company confirmed that the phone will include a 165Hz refresh rate display, which is expected to deliver extremely smooth scrolling and gaming performance. Such a high refresh rate is typically seen in gaming focused devices and could make the phone appealing to users who frequently play mobile games or watch high frame rate content.

Battery capacity appears to be another major highlight of the device. iQOO has revealed that the Z11 will pack a massive 9020mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever offered in an iQOO smartphone so far. With such a large power unit, the phone is expected to provide extended usage for gaming, streaming and everyday tasks without frequent charging.

Details about the upcoming phone were shared by a company product manager during iQOO’s seventh anniversary event. According to the company representative, the device is expected to become a popular choice among buyers in the mid price segment once it launches.

Industry reports suggest that the smartphone could arrive by the end of this month. The company is reportedly targeting the price range between 2000 and 3000 yuan, which roughly translates to about 26000 to 40000 rupees. In this category, the device is likely to compete with recently launched models such as the Realme P4 Power, which has drawn attention for offering a huge battery capacity.

Certification listings have also started revealing more details about the phone. A device carrying the model number I2512 recently appeared in the SIRIM certification database in Malaysia, confirming that it is the iQOO Z11 5G. The same model number had earlier surfaced in the IMEI database, strengthening expectations that the launch may not be far away.

Additional certification records from China’s 3C platform have shown two Vivo devices with model numbers V2551A and V2547A. One of these devices is believed to be the upcoming iQOO Z11. The listing indicates support for 90W fast charging, suggesting that the smartphone could ship with a 90W charging adapter in the box.

Rumors also point to a high quality display panel with a 1.5K resolution based on LTPS technology. While the exact screen size has not yet been revealed, the combination of a high resolution panel and 165Hz refresh rate could position the phone as a strong performer for multimedia and gaming.

As for performance, the device is expected to feature a mid range processor, although the exact chipset has not been confirmed. The previous model in the lineup, the iQOO Z10, launched with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, so the new device may feature a slightly upgraded chip to deliver improved performance.

Meanwhile, the company is also preparing another launch for the Indian market. iQOO is set to introduce the iQOO Z11x 5G in India on March 12. The phone already has a dedicated page live on Amazon India, revealing several of its key specifications ahead of release.

The iQOO Z11x 5G will feature a 7200mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. For photography, the smartphone is expected to include a 50 megapixel main camera. Another notable feature is its durability rating, as the device is set to come with IP68 and IP69 certification for resistance against dust and water.
