Last Days to Recharge BSNL Annual Plan Offering 949GB Data

BSNL customers who prefer long term prepaid plans may need to act quickly as the telecom operator is preparing to withdraw one of its most talked about annual offers. The Bharat Connect 26 plan launched around Republic Day is now approaching its final days.

Introduced as a limited period scheme the plan gained attention for combining a full year of validity with a high data allowance at a low daily cost. Priced at Rs 2626 the plan remains active for 365 days which brings the effective expense to just over Rs 7 per day making it attractive for users looking to avoid frequent recharges.

Under this plan subscribers receive unlimited voice calls across networks along with 2.6GB of data per day. Over the entire validity period this adds up to a total of 949GB of data. Once the daily data limit is exhausted internet speeds are reduced to 40Kbps. The plan also includes 100 SMS messages per day.

BSNL has confirmed that Bharat Connect 26 was launched as a time bound offer. It went live on January 24 2026 and is scheduled to expire on February 24 2026. Customers who wish to continue using this plan must recharge before the deadline as it will not be available afterward.

Those interested can recharge through the BSNL official website the Self Care mobile app or by contacting the customer care helpline. The company has advised users to check plan eligibility based on their circle before proceeding.

For customers who miss the deadline BSNL still offers other annual prepaid options. The Rs 2399 plan provides 365 days of validity with 2.5GB daily data totaling 912GB along with unlimited calls and daily SMS benefits. Another option is the Rs 2799 plan which offers higher daily data of 3GB adding up to 1095GB for the year with similar calling and messaging benefits.
