Lava Set to Launch Bold N2 Pro 4G with 50MP Camera and Smooth Display in India

Lava is preparing to expand its budget smartphone lineup with a new Pro model featuring upgraded performance better camera capabilities and a high refresh rate display for smoother everyday usage

India’s budget smartphone market is about to see another addition as Lava gears up to introduce its next device in the Bold series. After recently launching the entry level model, the company is now focusing on bringing a more powerful Pro variant aimed at users looking for better performance without spending too much.

The upcoming Lava Bold N2 Pro 4G is scheduled to make its debut on March 31, with early details already surfacing through an official online listing. The device is expected to strike a balance between affordability and upgraded specifications, making it appealing to budget conscious buyers.

One of the highlights of the new phone is its camera system. The device will feature a 50 megapixel triple rear camera setup powered by AI enhancements. This suggests that the brand is focusing on improving photography performance, an area that has become increasingly important even in lower price segments.

On the front, the phone will offer a 6.67 inch HD plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This higher refresh rate is expected to deliver smoother scrolling and a more responsive experience, especially for users who spend time on social media, gaming, or streaming content.

Performance wise, the smartphone is said to run on the Unisoc T7250 chipset. Early benchmarks indicate that it can handle everyday tasks efficiently, offering a noticeable step up compared to entry level processors. The device will come with 4GB RAM along with an additional 4GB virtual RAM feature, and 128GB internal storage to support apps and media needs.

Durability and software experience are also being highlighted. The phone is expected to carry IP54 certification for protection against dust and minor water exposure. It will run on Android 15, offering a clean interface without unnecessary apps or advertisements, something that has become a key selling point for the brand.

Powering the device will be a 5000mAh battery, which should comfortably last a full day for most users. Charging will be supported via a USB Type C port, aligning with modern connectivity standards.

The company is likely to offer the phone in two color options, giving buyers some flexibility in design preference. Additionally, Lava is continuing its focus on after sales service by offering home service support, which has helped it stand out in the competitive Indian market.

For context, the previously launched Lava Bold N2 4G was positioned as an affordable entry level device with basic features. With the Pro version, Lava appears to be targeting users who want a noticeable upgrade in performance, display quality, and camera capabilities without moving into higher price brackets.

As competition intensifies in the budget segment, the success of this new model will depend on how well it delivers real world performance and value for money. Early indications suggest that Lava is aiming to strengthen its position by offering a feature rich smartphone at a competitive price point.
