Motorola Edge 50 Pro Gets Major Price Cut in India with Premium Features

Motorola flagship smartphone sees significant price drop, offering high end features like powerful processor, fast charging, and advanced cameras at a more affordable price for buyers

Motorola has slashed the price of its popular premium smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, giving buyers a strong reason to consider an upgrade. Originally launched at Rs 35999, the device is now available for Rs 26499 on online platforms, marking a straight discount of Rs 9500.

The price reduction is further sweetened with additional offers. Buyers can avail a bank discount of up to Rs 1000 until the end of March, along with cashback benefits. Exchange deals are also available, allowing users to lower the final cost depending on the condition and value of their old device.

Despite the reduced price, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro continues to offer flagship level features. It comes with a 1.5K pOLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and an enhanced viewing experience. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, adding durability to the premium design.

Performance remains a strong point for the device, as it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, the phone is designed to handle multitasking and demanding applications efficiently.

The camera setup is another highlight. The phone features a triple rear camera system with a 50 megapixel primary sensor supported by optical image stabilization. It also includes a 13 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 10 megapixel telephoto camera. For selfies, Motorola offers a 50 megapixel front camera with autofocus, catering to users who prioritize high quality self portraits and video calls.

Battery performance is backed by a 4500mAh unit, but what stands out is the charging capability. The device supports 125W fast charging, along with 50W wireless charging, making it one of the fastest charging smartphones in its segment.

The phone also comes with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, adding to its durability. It runs on Android 14 and is expected to receive up to three major OS updates, ensuring longer software support.

Additional features include Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive sound experience and a wide range of connectivity options such as 5G, Wi Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type C.

With its combination of premium features and a significantly reduced price, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is now positioned as a value for money option in the upper mid range smartphone market, appealing to users who want flagship like performance without paying the original launch price.
