Motorola Expands G Series With Three New Smartphones Focused on Battery and Camera Performance
New Moto G lineup introduces strong battery capacity, improved camera systems, durable build quality, and immersive audio features aimed at everyday users seeking reliable and feature rich smartphones globally

Motorola has unveiled three new smartphones under its popular G series lineup, introducing the Moto G47, Moto G37, and Moto G37 Power in selected global markets. The latest range focuses on delivering a balance of long battery life, capable cameras, and durable design, catering to users who prioritize everyday performance.
Among the three, the Moto G37 Power stands out for its massive 7000mAh battery, one of the largest in its segment. This makes it an ideal choice for users who need extended usage without frequent charging. Meanwhile, both the Moto G47 and Moto G37 come equipped with 5200mAh batteries, offering solid backup along with support for 20W fast charging and wired reverse charging.
Motorola has also emphasized durability across the lineup. All three devices feature IP64 rated builds, providing resistance against dust and splashes. Additionally, they come with MIL STD 810H certification, ensuring better protection against accidental drops and harsh conditions, making them suitable for daily wear and tear.
On the camera front, the Moto G47 leads the series with a 108 megapixel primary sensor housed within a triple rear camera setup. This is designed to deliver high resolution photography with improved detail and clarity. In comparison, the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power feature 50 megapixel main cameras, which still promise reliable performance for regular photography needs. For selfies and video calls, users get an 8 megapixel front camera across the lineup.
The display experience remains consistent across the devices. Each model features a 6.67 inch HD plus LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and better visual fluidity. The screens are protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and support peak brightness levels of up to 1050 nits, ensuring usability even under bright lighting conditions.
Performance is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6nm process, delivering efficient multitasking and stable performance. The smartphones run on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI, which includes features designed to enhance usability and security.
Audio and connectivity have also received attention. The devices are equipped with stereo speakers supported by Dolby Atmos and Hi Res Audio, providing a richer sound experience. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4, dual band Wi Fi, USB Type C port, and multiple global navigation systems for accurate location tracking.
In terms of pricing, the Moto G47 is listed in Europe at 319 euros for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The Moto G37 is priced at 249 euros for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model, while the Moto G37 Power with 4GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for 279 euros. The latter two models are currently available for purchase in Germany, while broader availability is expected gradually.
With this launch, Motorola continues to strengthen its mid range portfolio by offering a mix of performance, endurance, and practical features, appealing to a wide range of smartphone users.
