Motorola Increases Prices of Popular Smartphones in India by Up to Rs 2000
Motorola revises pricing of key models including Moto G35, Moto G57 Power and Edge 60 Fusion, leaving buyers to pay more across budget and mid range segments in India

Motorola has quietly raised the prices of several of its best selling smartphones in India, catching many potential buyers off guard. The revision affects devices across both budget and mid range categories, making them noticeably more expensive than before.
The updated prices are already visible on online platforms, meaning customers planning to purchase these models will now have to spend extra. The price hike goes up to Rs 2000, depending on the device and variant, adding pressure on buyers who were waiting for the right time to upgrade.
Among the affected models, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has seen the steepest increase. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which was earlier priced at Rs 20999, is now available for Rs 22999. Other variants have also been revised, with higher storage and RAM options now reaching up to Rs 26999.
In the budget segment, the Moto G35 has also become costlier. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version has moved up from Rs 11999 to Rs 12499. Meanwhile, the 8GB variant has seen a bigger jump, now priced at Rs 13999 compared to its earlier tag of Rs 12999.
Another model impacted by the revision is the Moto G57 Power, which remains popular among users looking for performance focused devices in the affordable range. While exact variant wise changes vary, the overall increase falls within the same range seen across the lineup.
Although Motorola has not officially disclosed the reason behind this sudden price adjustment, industry trends suggest a combination of rising component costs and ongoing supply chain challenges. These factors have been affecting smartphone makers globally, forcing brands to revisit their pricing strategies.
The timing of the increase could disappoint buyers who had been tracking deals or planning purchases in recent days. With the revised pricing now in place, customers may need to reassess their options or budgets before finalizing a purchase.
Despite the hike, Motorola continues to maintain a strong presence in the Indian smartphone market. However, with increasing competition and price sensitivity among consumers, even a modest increase could influence buying decisions in the coming weeks.
