Motorola Launches Two Rugged 5G Phones in India With Massive Battery and AI Camera Features
Motorola has introduced the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power in India with durable build quality, AI powered cameras, smooth displays and long battery life at affordable pricing.

Motorola has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power. The company is targeting users who want a dependable 5G smartphone with solid battery life, durable design and practical everyday performance without spending flagship level money. Both smartphones come with military grade durability, AI powered camera features and high refresh rate displays, making them strong contenders in the affordable 5G category.
The biggest talking point of the Moto G37 Power is its huge 7000mAh battery. Motorola claims the device can comfortably last up to three days on a single charge under regular usage. For users who spend long hours watching videos, attending online classes or gaming on mobile data, battery backup often becomes a major concern. With this new device, Motorola seems focused on solving that issue directly. The phone also supports 30W TurboPower fast charging, helping users quickly get back to work without waiting for hours.
Meanwhile, the standard Moto G37 also offers a reliable battery setup with a 5200mAh unit paired with 20W fast charging support. It additionally includes reverse charging support, allowing users to power up smaller gadgets when needed. Both devices are designed to handle daily usage comfortably while offering modern connectivity features including 5G support.
Motorola has equipped both smartphones with a 6.7 inch HD Plus LCD display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. This higher refresh rate delivers smoother scrolling, improved animations and a more responsive experience while gaming or browsing social media. The displays are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, adding extra protection against scratches and accidental drops.
Photography is another area where Motorola is placing heavy focus. Both phones feature a 50MP Quad Pixel AI rear camera setup aimed at improving low light photography and overall image clarity. The Moto G37 Power also includes AI based editing tools such as Magic Eraser and Photo Unblur, features usually seen in more expensive smartphones. For selfies and video calls, both phones include an 8MP front camera capable of recording clear video content.
Under the hood, the two devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. This processor supports 5G connectivity while offering stable performance for multitasking, streaming and casual gaming. The Moto G37 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the Moto G37 Power offers up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage for users who need additional space and smoother app handling.
Motorola has also focused on durability and practical design. Both phones carry MIL STD 810H military grade certification along with IP64 dust and splash resistance. These features make the devices better suited for rough daily usage and unpredictable weather conditions. The inclusion of stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.4 further improves the multimedia experience.
In terms of pricing, the Moto G37 starts at Rs 13999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. It will be available in Pantone Capri and Pantone Impenetrable color options. The Moto G37 Power starts at Rs 15999 for the 4GB plus 128GB model, while the 8GB plus 128GB variant is priced at Rs 18999. The device will be sold in Pantone Nautical Blue color.
Motorola has confirmed that both smartphones will go on sale from May 25 through Flipkart, the official Motorola India website and retail stores across the country. Buyers using selected bank credit cards can also avail instant discounts as part of the launch offers, making the phones even more attractive for budget conscious users.
With powerful batteries, modern AI camera features and rugged durability packed into affordable pricing, Motorola is clearly aiming to strengthen its position in India’s competitive budget 5G smartphone market.
